Enquiry on 2nd hand Camera shop

Hi , not sure if I post my question in this forum correctly or not... :think:

1. Where do I find a camera shop that will buy 2nd hand camera ? Roughly how much they will pay for a good condition camera ?

2. If i have a lens that have fungus, do the second hand shop buy it as well ?

3. How much does it cost to clean a fungus on the following lens:
a. 28-80mm lens ( 58 mm dia )
b. 100-300mm lens ( 55mm dia )
c. 35-70mm ( 49 mm dia )

Hope someone can help.

if they buy straight they will jack down the price
normally they will make u put it up as consignment
if u want it cleaned..send in to the original brand service centre

If you are holding on to Canon lenses, then the cleaning charges for each lens is S$60 b4 GST.

if u r moving 2 D-SLR cam u can keep ur 100-300mm lense aft cleaning d fungus.
i can't b certain if its worth cleaning d other 2 lenses den selling it off. can giv it a shot.

i traded my 28-90mm & 75-300mm lenses (Canon) den got a 28-200mm pao-ka-lao lense instead!:bsmilie:

i dun kno d model of ur cam, but u may jus 1 2 keep it for sentimental value...:bsmilie:

shop that trades 2nd hand stuff can b found in Peninsula Plaza where CP is & got another shop across d road Peninsula dunno wad its name at L1. its called Camera Workshop.

sorry i think we all did not ans to ur Q abt 2nd hand shop. more like we're talking bout stuff we wanted 2...:sweat:

I think at colombo court also got 2nd hand camera shop .. not sure whether is it still there .

It's in the basement
