EM1 with FL600R -- Flash setting for FP mode

To shoot in flash FP mode, what are the settings on the EM1?
Tried to set A on the camera but the flash will not trigger if the shutter speed is above 1/30sec.

For FP, u need to set ur camera on S or M.

Has your FP mode been set first?

For FP, u need to set ur camera on S or M.

Aperture also can, but the camera must determine that the light is super bright to justify that the shutter speed needs to be above sync speed and that FP mode is turned on

Thank you for all the kind advise and shall try it out for the FP mode.

By the way, I thought the maximum flash syn for EM1 is 1/320 sec but when the camera set to A and flash set to A TTL, why the flash fails to trigger if the shutter speed shows higher than 1/60 Sec but less than 1/320 Sec?

Is ur flash set to auto or 1st curtain in ur camera?

If so, change to fill-in flash.

Yes, flash set in auto.

Just to clarify that if the flash head is set to bounce position, will the FP flash function properly?
