it's just a very huge panorama.. what they usually do is get 1 or 2 fisheyes, and take photos from a tripod that rotates around the nodal point of the lens (u need special panning equipment for this, and it's not cheap)... then use some specialised software to stitch those photos together for use in certain viewers.. quite expensive though...
