Anyone know about this len? How much does it cost? IT fair selling $459 with any DSLR purchase.
IT Fair Selling EOS 500D at $1399.
Is this a good deal?
It Come with SD8GB, EOS Bag, EF Lens Workbook, 320GB HDD and Tripod.

Anyone can advice, i thinking of getting it tomorrow.

If you really need or want those freebies as well as squeezing through the crowds, then go for that. For that price though, it seems you are actually paying for the freebies.

I'm sure you'd be better entertained at the shops listed in the price guide compared to the PC show.

IT Fair is for IT, if you want to get a camera then go to camera shops.

It Come with SD8GB, EOS Bag, EF Lens Workbook, 320GB HDD and Tripod.

Price for memory cards drop every day, nothing really that makes a difference. EF Lens book is just a book about the lens line-up, marketing. Do you need it? Tripods given for free are mostly quite flimsy. Read up about tripod and get the right one for you.
All package deals have drawbacks, there is always something bundled in that "must go" but nobody really needs it...

BTW the EF Lens Workbook is FREE.... you can get it in the Canon showroom.....

I saw the price list ... it is cheap ...
The IT fair only give me an extra batt.
I do not know how to see which shop is selling cheaper. Anyone can advice?

from the price guide, you will see a list of the shops there along with their contact details.

you can call their phone numbers, e-mail them or go to their websites to ask for quotes. at least you'd be able to compare prices and see which is the best deal. I've personally had good correspondence with John 3:16, M S Color as well as Cathay Photo in Peninsula. You could try those.
