just want to ask how common are hot pixels in DSLRs under these settings
ISO800 shutter speed 0.5 secs with lens cap on, noise reduction OFF. Do you get a perfect black shot? Any hot pixels (colored dots)?
Reason asking this question is that I have bought a DSLR recently and I see ONE hot pixel under those settings.
Tried to get it exchanged but I found the other 2 sets in the shop exhibit similar problem.
The dot is at the bottom of the image so not so irritating. Just want to get an idea how common this problem is.
