is there any chance that the autofocusing in live view will be more superior than viewfinder?

or both are the same thing?

more superior as in, more accurate exposure, accurate focus... etc etc?

Autofocusing is more accurate in LV because it's using contrast detection instead of phase detection.

but it is substantially slower.. only suitable for use with stationary objects

For me, the AF in Live View is very much slower than using the Viewfinder be it using Nikon or 3rd Party lenses. Not an issue as i seldom use LV except for the occasionally taking of video clips.

okie, thanks guys!

Yes. I mostly use it for testing lens sharpness. ;p

actually i intend to set up the dslr and wait for the specific moment of wildlife, so i was thinking that on live view, i can relax more on my eyes instead? good approach?

Nope.. Your battery will drain out faster than you think. Plus if the sensor gets warm, there will be a timer to shut down the LV, so it's not a good solution.

You can try ZigView which attaches to your viewfinder and runs on its own power instead.
