We've all know that the D7000 suffers from hot pixels when taking videos.

Does anybody have the same problem when taking STILL IMAGES in Live View?

I have red pixels appearing on my images when i take pictures in Live View mode after a few minutes. But regular viewfinder method is fine.

Just want to check with you guys if this is normal before i bring my D7000 to NSC for warranty claim.

Thanks!

hmm, nobody has this issue? :)

Not at all.... at least for me :)

My one OK. :bsmilie:

Never ever had this problem! Perhaps you should bring it to Nikon if you still have warranty!:)

I have encounter it many time, when doing long exposure... even without using the liveview.
I just postprocess it away, cos the hot pixels appear in different location randomly... If turn off the camera and cool down for awhile before taking the next photo, then no hotpixels...

But for normal exposure, its fine for me, even at high ISO or liveview....
You can send to NSC for them to help you to do a remap or you can do it yourself also.
Search the net for the remapping instruction, can't remember where I saw it, not sure is it yourtube or webpage...

Cheers...
