D700 Cost

Hi Can any forummers advise me the current cost of the D700 Body only in Singapore please.
I have a friend going there next Wednesday and he is happy to pick one up for me.

A little surprise .... that's USD2360. USD $10 higher than Vietnam price? I thought Singapore would have cheaper prices than Vietnam.

I think so too, this will be quite close to exhibtion price...i was told by insider...

Hey lomo, when did you pick it up? Last time i checked around this month was 3400 or some 3450ish. How did you manage to get such a good price on that?

you can negotiate or if he's your regular dealer you can get better price.

U can claim 7% GST rebate if you are foreigner....that is around sgd 230~240 :think:

man this is really cheap mine cost me 3450 from MS(<1month ago) with a 8gb lexar card(~120) and a nikon rezo bag(i deem it useless~50) so it still works out to be about 3280 with gst

Thought Nikon body only comes with local warranty? If so, may not be worth the small saving buying D700 outside your home country.
