D300s 51af points on the viewfinder??

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie in Nikon system, just recently purchase a D300s,
just want to ask how to see the 51 af points in the viewfinder? Which setting i need to adjust?

You shouldn't be able to see all the AF points at once. Otherwise that would be very distracting! ;)
You should be able to cycle through all the AF points by using the directional pad. Make sure the switch next to it is not in the 'L' position, and you are not using Auto-Area AF.
 

Make sure a the lever switch on the right of the bottom right of your LCD is switch to the 2nd or 3rd option. The first/topmost option will hide the AF cursor in ur viewfinder as it's taking the entire frame (I'm not too sure abt this but I remember that's how it works) to guesstimate what to AF.
 

you need to go into the menu to select 51AF (if it was not previously set as 51AF). Then follow the instructions above.

51 would be too many to roll around and select a point of focus haha.
