D300 Live View mode

Hi, Just got myself a D300....

Trying out the live view mode i found something funny....

It only can work with my Sigma 18-50 f2.8 EX D...

I tried it with my tamron 90 Di and Nikon 50mm 1.8 ... it does not work anyone can shad some light???

hmm?!

Did you turn lock the aperture ring as you should?
I.e- to the maximum f-number and lock it?

Yes, the 90 and 50 can both work with norm shots just not live view... tats what i find strange...

anyone with a D300 and a Tamron 90 or Nikon 50 1.8 can try to see if it works on yours?
