wah long time never pass by here..hahaha. Ok on the 10th..who be going for the marathon..hope we could update here regarding on the 10th photomarathon..maybe can go together.or meet there..and shoot together..Kacau gerls together..hahaha. :devil:

hi guys.. am sorta doing a mini project with my free time to SSS now before i enter the army and SSS myself.. wanna ask for your opinion from our grp if this images works for you.. and how does it makes you feel (e.g. scared, feels like smth common at the void deck, or etc.)

Err, a little too dark. But nice though. Composition. Observe Rule of thirds.
Lighting. Can improve more.
Story. Too many to tell in this single picture. Yes. A picture says a thousand words but you need a story.
What I will do if I'm the one shooting this?
1. I will take a 3/4 profile of the model.
2. If lights the lighter, light will focus on his face and expression and I will wait for a few seconds more for him to blow out his 1st puff. Thus this will lead to his tattoos being secondary. Position him more to the right or left of the frame depending what you want to add into the frame.
3. If wanna show tattoo, light focus on tattoo with the model's face half captured btw 1/2 to 3/4 profile with some fill light and dark background. Take away the lighter and cigarette and the cigarette box and handphone.
Above all, remember what is your subject and story you wanna convey to your audience. Happy SSS.

Last year I reached there around 6:30 a.m.
but the event only started around 9 a.m. if I am not wrong.
They do accept the registration even around 8 a.m. time.
So I m wondering whether I need to reach there so early or not this year.
Btw, Canon EOS 7D has already reached SG ya.
Hand is itchy for that baby now...
