I've to ask after my 2007 polo shirt thread and now a new thread, how do i know that this will also not aeroplane, same things were said and promised and also about the mods explanation.

I was able to see the Marina Bay Sands from reclaimed land to now a functioning casino and here we are still nothing concrete with the polo.

Cheers.

well if you're gonna put it this way, you'll get your polo only when singapore gets a intergalactic spaceport.

We would like to ask for the patience from members regarding this issue. The admins had approved this new round of ClubSNAP t-shirt proposal and the mod team is actively working on it.

And for those who are complaining, I am really curious. May I ask, what have YOU done to make it happen? What have YOU done to help out the community?

i can help with the administration part.

in any case, if you want to print the shirts better get clubsnap approval before doing so.

design - allenonheart
administration (collect order and distribution of tees) - pokiemon
printing - ???
treasurer - ???
sponsors - to subsidise cost in return place their logos on sleeves or somewhere.

I really appreciate the idea of having a Clubsnap T-Shirt as this is a growing community and good for members to know more fellow photographers.

I have brought this matter up the Admin and Mod team to discuss. Hope that it can yield some results but no promise.

Cheerz.

yes admins and mods, we under the need to get approval first. what allenleonhart was thinking is members will volunteer to undertake the polo-tee project by forming a committee with the guidance of a admin/mod. i have identified some of the roles our members can partake in. hope this clarifies our intention.

Dear Mr xtemujin,

I can understand your frustration but can you put yourself in our shoes?

We need people to oversee this project and now I myself and the rest of the mods (of course with the blessing and commitment from the Admin) are doing our best out of our own free will and time to make this a success.

Remember this, we are not paid to do all these services.

Talk is cheap, I know but likewise will anyone wanted to take on the project on doing the T-Shirt back in 2007?

I am very fortunate to have this week off from my busy and hectic yet unappreciated out-of-office job to be back in the comfort of my office only to be greeted by a massive load of paperwork. But I take the time to bring this matter to the attention of the admins and the rest of the mods.

We are all putting our heads and effort together.

I am thankful to receive a lot of supports from the batch of new mods and a handful of the senior mods and also the admin and things are moving (in the background).

I do not know what assurance I can give you but I will try my best. But hope that you can remember this, CS do not owe anyone an explanation if this project is a no go.

yep. this may prove to be more efficient and effective perhaps. afterall, as ziploc has said, what have we done to help?

we wont mind trying to help:)
i suggest this
design and perhaps requesting of permission for usage of logos and stuff can be handled by members themselves. can work closely with mods regarding this issue. as for the more admin matters such as money stuff, would be better to have someone with authority managing it.

hmm. cant we collect full payment? since we only be having the direct cost of making tees and not profits. aka everything is at cost price.

ok design, are we going to be using WTD as our front? if yes gotta ask the author. i find wtd quite an impt part of CS seeing our front page daily has one comic from it.

next, where am i supposed to ask for permission to use the CS logo?

lastly, are we gonna print names?

anyways i'll kick start the list for CS tee.

dude, let's not go into the nitty gritty of operations first. get approval first. there's a lot to be done. design, material, cost etc. also potential questions will be - members wear a cs polo, are they representing cs (reputation damage to consider)?

hmm. reputation damage can be avoided with printing of usernames on the tees. anythign happen, we only identify their username. shoot also shoot their own rep. CS doesnt have any relationship with the actions of their members beyond the forum. how does this sound?

material and perhaps design can be put via voting? tats the fastest way i can think of already. we do have polling systems in place.

i know lah bro. but you are printing the cs logo right? u can print username but what if public only see cs logo? and they complain to the police, eh your guy wearing a shirt with cs logo taking upskirt pictures?

timeline -> get approval from admins/mods -> form a working commitee -> design phase -> submit design for approval -> collect orders -> send to printers -> distribute to members

hmm. but meanwhile no harm throwing out ideas while waiting. later easier to just find thread and look through for any potential points.

i was thinking maybe logo just small one. those at the breast pocket area u know? blood donation kind. then at the back just blow up one super big username. is it ok? as long as its identifiable between csers that we are csers its sufficient wad. then username is for all to see:bsmilie:

Hi pokiemon & allenleonhart,

It is very encouraging to see that you are eager to contribute and help out in this project. However, in this case the mod team is already getting most things covered and the project is already underway. Just give us some time to work on it (we are getting quotations from vendors now). As of this moment we do not yet need any help from the members, but rest assure that we will call upon you (and others who are willing to help) to support us if such needs arise.

To avoid any further confusion, I shall close off this thread at this moment. Please do look out for the official announcement once we are ready to launch it. Once again, really appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to help.

Cheers. :)
