I cum say 'HELLO!' ... but cannot qualify for your 1000D club leh. :embrass:

I believe the club 'membership' right now is pretty informal. Basically we all have one thing in common and that is not necessarily the 1000D camera. We all want to learn more about photography. We all want to improve our photography skills (and gear .. hehehe .. BBB!!). Most importantly, we all want to have fun doing it.
We have nikon shooters as well during our outings. And I believe that even if all you have is a DIY pinhole camera made out of paper (interesting project guys btw .. we should do one for one of the outing) as long as you are keen to learn, all of us here will welcome you.
P.S. although if all you are prepared to get in the near future is the pinhole camera made from paper ... u might need to figure out how to get your pix online for all to see. hehe.
BTW the 450D general discussion thread also kenna closed by the same moderator hoh .. and i did not notice a new thread created there. maybe that is why.
our 'Stand-In Chief' Rockfreak i tink, is thinking at home trying to figure out where to go next month for our outing....

I am currently offshore Benghazi, Libya. Had a harrowing Heli ride from Malta.
And I have internet connection but painfully slow. No time to use my trusted 1000D yet. Now only shoot with my Canon Ixus P&S. As plenty of work before settling down.
I will upload some shots or snap shots whenever I have the chance, so check my flickr and we can comms there.
HELI (HELL) Ride. Had the chopper all by myself he he, cost the company a 'bomb'.

hi guys .. i think we should not creat any more thread as it is enough thread for us to talk and post photos here.. as we create more and more thread i think it look very massy and out of control and even ourself can't check every thread for everyday and i feel like our group closeness is bit loose because of creating new more thread. so pls stick it with curent a few thread and want to talk anything under the sun just be here .. my 2 cents...:lovegrin:

Yes I feel your frustration but unfortunately we have to respect the rules of the forum and they have enforced the rule that made it necessary to create the 4 seperate threads.
I am at the moment trying to experiment with something that will hopefully give us a more permanent home whilst still having the clubsnap forums.
Wa... Suddenly 1000D thread gone missing. Hahaha... Just feel dat the moderators should at least gave a warning b4 closing down our thread man!!! :thumbsd: :nono:
