btw, do you have any film (expired, preferably) that you dont want anymore? getting my Smena soon...

I got super expired slides. Expired since, err... 1998 I think. Or is it 1996. You dare to use?

Anyway, film not ex lah. Fuji superia will give you quite good results liao. Think can get cheap at CP.

I break down the cost for you huh... slides I can pass to you (24 exp, long expired, think still got 100 rolls). Development is about $6 per roll.
Superia roughly $3 a roll. Development is about $2.50 to $5 (depending on where). Total cost about the same, but with better latitude of exposure and a better gurantee that the film should be within the quality threshold set up by Fujifilm. Hmm... hard choice! ;p

Anyway, how will smena teach you about exposure and aperture? Go and find someone to lend you a proper film SLR to learn lah! Think khairi has a Canon sitting around, with a number of lenses. Zaren has a Oly sitting around, and that particular cam has 100% view from finder! *drool*

I can lend you my MF too... but the overall film cost will definitely be higher! But heck! I learn more about exposure when cost is involved, than from anything else.
