Chiang Mai - Chang Rai

My friend and I will be flying to chiang mai next year 29Apr till 2nd May 2010.
2 of us will be traveling over. Does anyone has any recommendation? We plan to goo Chiang Rai and visit golden triangle, white temple, the long neck tribe and tour of chiangmai.

Is it better to take a land tour or to do Free and Easy and what hotel/tour agency do you recommend? Thanks to all.

North Thailand best done self driving / riding (if you are adventurous)

not too sure if you can see long neck karen in golden triangle loop, but i'm sure you will encounter more hill tribes if u do the Mae Hong Son Loop (also on GT-rider website)
