Apparently I have asked a taboo question here? Did some google search and understand TFCD is about 'time for CD'. This is not allowed here?

Timbuktu is in west Africa, so don't really know how to link them. XMM didn't have any meaningful answer.

read my post #8 again, TFCD is for one (photographer) to one (model) only,

having Group TFCD will have conflict interest with our photoshoot advertisers, hence it is not allowed here.

My reply to edutilos- is, every photographers and models are already international star when their photos posted in the internet.

as for what is XMM, please refer to Frequently Used Acronyms in ClubSNAP

Sinned79 appreciate your clear explanation. I am nowhere near that stage yet. This is just a hobby for retirement, never consider it as serious. Bump into this web site as it flag out when you google for photography forum.

So far a very good and active site. I bought my stuff here and people are generally helpful.

maybe off topic a bit but I usually have these few personal beliefs and policies that I try to adhere to

1. ANYONE can be your subject. Its sad when you need a pretty face/body to save the photographer/photo
2. Models can be anyone and often free...... all due respect but your sibilings, your parents, your relatives, friends and your kids can be your model.... even strangers
3. A photographer's aim is to bring out the unique and/or best in the model ..... again refer to #1 above

From a commercial perspective, CEO's , MD's, graduation photos, Resume attached photos and other personalities do not come with Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie looks ..... a competent photographer attempts to bring out the best in the subject ......

If you are participating in TFCDs or paid model shoots ....... dont be disheartened ...... instead be HAPPY.... when a model has flaws or does not know how to pose for you ...... THAT, then will be REAL homework

Oxygen is not free anymore. Need to protect existing forests, create by replanting new forests to mop up the huge amount of CO2 that we let out. If the trees fail, we die .........

when u can't find humans to shoot, shoot buildings, shoot flowers etc.. shoot events (deepavali coming, and so many smaller events at weekends at the durian )

the good thing with shooting such objects is that no one will come and claim photo from u, no one will chase you when u r going to finish PP..
