Hi guyz, just got a 1 GB CF card todae for my D70... When i switch the file from Basic jpeg to RAW mode, i found out that i can only take 90++ pics is that normal?? Kindly assist...

raw file size is bigger so take more space on the card

Sorry... i mean i know that raw pics are about 5MB each, but 1000MB/5MB should give me around 200 pics, isn't it?? But currently i am only getting about 90++, so i'm just wondering if this is normal...

the "counter" on the D70 is not accurate.
just shoot and see how the counter number at the end.. u will get more shots then state on the counter.
but is a gd choice cos it tells u how much more can shoot... nv over estimate...

I've maxed out my 1GB CF a few times and it generally averages to 160~ on RAW.
