Let me know if I am understanding this wrongly.
1) Transfer 800 to your friend in UK
2) Produce the transfer details (screenshot, scanned receipt) to the dealer
3) Goods are shipped to you, you do a throughout check, You are happy.
4) Transfer the $$ to them.

I don't see any issues you are going to lose out.

Obviously you don't know how Western Union or Moneygram works. You're not supposed to disclose the transfer code or transaction details to anyone other than the recipient. Any Tom Dick Harry can then produce that and collect the money from Western Union. Read through before posting these kinds of statements.

Thanks all for your suggestion

hmmm i never thought of ordering, anyway nthg to worry..

ok that's good and thanks for sharing here so potential victims can be alerted and chances of scam can be minimised.

Even after reading the thread, I am also suspicious of the TS id. Title looks weird, newly registered with no profile. Sudden posting with no purpose.

What's there to be suspicious of?
He highlighted to the forum there is such a website "selling" the items.
And he did not recommend any of us to order thru the website either.
From what i can see, he has brought up a possible scam. :dunno:

Yes you will lose out.

Once you give them the details, the money will be gone. Why? because Western union do not really do identity checks in some countries. In some branches, as long as you show the amount sent, from who, date sent, with the confirmation number, they will give you the cash. Please do not think western union transfers are secure like a bank's. It is not.

If you smell a fish, it probably is.

It is 100% scam. Beware of it!
