I am considering to get one camera to start with...
wonder what i should get..not too high a budget..

pro always say the D70s very good camera...but nv say D200 anything so more become entry level...D70s become better...:bsmilie:

Get the D80! you won't regret it..D200 is an overkill for a newbie but surely an excellent camera for advanced users

sweat....is it becos now DSLR prices are much lower....that it become an entry lvl cam ar?^^|

haha.. in the first place, graphicz, what sort of cam are u looking for? DSLR or normal digicam with some manual functions to play with?
Note that no doubt price of DSLR is getting low...still gotta buy lens wo!

btw....me an outdated amatuer...wahhahaa......

1) What's ur budget ?
2) Ur main purpose of buying the camera. Shoot models at car shows, shoot nude or for friends/family outings?

DSLR bahs..wads prosumer..haha..
hmm. my budget not more than 2500..lesser..
weight is not quite a problem to me i guess.
purpose..shooting at events, travelling, and also people..and nature..
thanks all of you..:D

<$2.5 k will get u D80 bah.....D200 will be no lens....body nia...:D

IMHO... with 2.5K to spend, why not get a cheap 2nd hand entry DSLR to play with 1st. A 2nd hand good condition entry level DSLR costs less than 1K now in B&S section.
