Camera buying experience

Accompanied a friend on a camera buying trip at a big shop in Ngee Ann City...

Here's what happens:-
We were shown the camera and the freebies which includes only one 2GB SD card.

Then we relate to the salesman that it should be two pieces instead of one, as we had visited the same shop a week ago and was told at that time that the purchase comes with two pieces.

The salesman told us that its not possible and all the crab story but we were certain of the promotion. Reluctantly and without consulting anyone, he went to the cabinet and got us another piece. Unfortunately, upon receiving it, we realised that it was only a 1GB SD card and again we pointed that out to him. Again he was not very helpful, until we were considering not to get it, only then, he reluctantly moved his butt to the cabinet to change it to the 2GB card!

Was he being lazy or trying to safe for the company?:dunno:

Well, these places are all tourist traps. If oyu did not do homework, dun even go near. But lucky for you, you knew what you were supposed to get.

As mentioned before, always go to the recommended shops.

Had to go there because she has some vouchers to redeem. Have personally shop there for home appliances but never encounter such service.
