C30: Cheaper Alternative to BP-300?!

Just saw the above product at Cathay today. Costs ~S$65. Think it's made in China. No AE/FE lock, no ON/OFF button. There is a shutter but it has got a white ring around it. (Looks very "chiong" IMO...)

It was said to be compatible with other older film EOS bodies like 1N and 50, and many other models (printed on the box)... Those interested may want to drop by Cathay Peninsular to take a look.

-Anyone used it before? Mind doing a review?
-What's the px for a brand new BP-300 now?

I bought mine second hand at 80 - 85 so I dont think i'll spend 65 on choing grip. New is at 100+?
