a tiger...

to eat up your budgie or hamster.

and if you have to ask what pet to get, it means that you're just getting it on a whim.

do the SPCA a favor, and drop the idea

Not trying to be mean..but hamster 2 years shelf life..max..
When the hamster starts giving little ones.. you get a lot!! I had both and budgie would be my choice any day (easier to take care of to start off with).

Hamster can multiply rapidly so you need to take this into consideration.

yeah..cats...so many at void decks..just take one home!
Please check with the feeder / caregivers first. They appreciate if you adopt one, but let them know to avoid sleepless nights for them.

A single hamster should not be able to do this :)

Ok to keep hamster inside a hardly used toilet? At night, can let it out but toilet door closed. Thinking of doing that.

What's the point of having a hamster then? Please provide adequate living conditions or better don't get.

good to see lot of progress in Kopitiam.
I remember some years back,
someone asking "Should I get a Girlfriend or a Dog?"
Maybe it's due to the reported 'shrinking' of newer HDB flats? Or because of lower TCO :bsmilie:
