if need to pose infront of a tall; straight statue; "model" should stand directly or left or right side of the statue if view from the front.( i mean from the view finder)

or any body able to share over here with sample photos or link on this

thanks

Since there are no details provided as to what statues you have in mind, or how small or tall these statues are, or the type of shots you want to try and capture (touristy, arty, glam and fashion, documentary and records etc etc etc) you would have to explore different positions, angles as well as distance of subject and photographer from statue.

E.g., one would use a very different approach for shooting a fashion spread of a 1.75 meter tall model in an evening gown in front of the ultra tall war memorial near Peninsula area as opposed to getting attractive looking touristy shots of family members with the fountain of Trevelli or the Statue of Liberty.

I don't think there is a specific category of photos under 'posing with statues', but if you search in flickr and google images under 'statues', you will come across photos of people with statues. Perhaps these could help.
