My dslr warranty will be over in 2 weeks, is it still posible to bring for general check up and sensor cleaning without paying anything?:dunno:

Warranty means that if your product has a problem, it will be serviced free of charge. They might throw in a cleaning for goodwill or good customer service.

But if your product is working well, or if the problem is due to negligence or damages due to wear and tear, the service center have no obligation to service it for free and has every right to charge you for any check or cleaning.

thanks, there's nothing wrong with the camera, i just thought of having a sensor cleaning...

Why if its working fine?

btw fyi sensor cleaning requires paying even with warranty

Maybe it's time to exercise this saying once again: "If it ain't broken, why fix it?" Much like, if you're not sick, why go for open surgery? :bsmilie:
