hi yongqin,

This 1 very nice !!!

i noticed ur food shots too, but did u do any PS editing on it ?? some looks a bit unnatural. but overall very nice and brillant colors :D

thanks Ramius :D

yup colours have all been processed, the food shots were all done under yellow flourescent light, so i shot them in raw for colour correction. do tell me if there's any strange colour tint, quite some work just to get the colours 'back,' thanks!

hi eikin, thanks for sharing.

i am heading to tokyo next week. hakone is on my itinerary..seems a very good place to take pic and makan angin as well.

try to go on a weekday, as for the Moritsuke it comes with guesthouse/hotel booking, do browse through the various pamphlets available at travel agencies (usually conveniently located at the train stations) ;)

tltan

yah get the free pass, 1 day is quite enough to cover the rides in Hakone, but might not be enough if you want to visit the various museums. btw the Lake Ashi side of the cable car ride is closed for renovation.

Mt. Fuji is 'closed' now (can't go climbing) so best go somewhere with a nice view of it instead. maybe Kawaguchiko? weather's good these couple of days, quite rare for october, enjoy yourself :)

Really nice n clean landscape photos u took
I'm always in love with Japanese shrine gate...
Really need to go to japan one day...
Glad that u have a chance to stay there =)

kevinsph, i'm glad you enjoyed the series :)

thanks, and yes it's a blessing to have the chance to be here to experience the place

wow... thanks for sharing......

cheers...

Beautiful photos from you as usual.

But some shots had lens flare which were a slight distraction. But just a minor quibble nothing to worry about. You used a zoom with a large front element I presume.
