AVC HD lite

Hi,

Anybody knows how to make your windows media player play the AVC HD lite files? Where to download the codec? :think:

not sure where to get the codec for windows media player but you can play it with VLC player from http://www.videolan.org. This player can playback almost all video formats.

OT a bit, I'm new to AVC HD format as well. There are so many files from the AVCHD folder after synch from my GF1, which are the files that is needed ? It make organisation of my files and archiving very difficult as I can only rely on PhotoFunStudio from Panasonic to view and manage videos files. I hardly have time to edit/compile video clips, normally would had just chuck it into one folder and kept in my backup HDD, and pull them out when I have time to organise.

Also, what video editing software is recommended ? Adobe Premier seems to be very hard to use. Also, I had seen my friend put together a presentation, with video still that looks like album, and as it flip and pan from one pict to another, the video comes alive and play, very cool. Not sure anyone has good recommendation on what Video software is good.

You may download the free video converter from the above website, and convert the AVCHD Lite file into AVI format for editing or viewing on media player.

Tried it. I am dumb. Do not know how to use.
