Hi airconvent,

Yes. Indeed I have. (=
Very impress with the K30 sensor for astro usage.

Wonder how's the K5iis for astro.
Any body has any hand on experience with the K5iis for astro?

My first attempt at shooting a deep sky object in Singapore - the Orion Nebula (M42).

Cool stuff!
I think I will keep an eye for the GPS module in BnS next time. :)

Another K-30, DAL55-300 with O-GPS1 combi shot.

This time round push O-GPS1 to track at 30 seconds and tracking still works ok although slight stars trails noted. Managed to image the comet but it is a bit blurry due to the many light frames stacked (it moved a bit during the short shoot period of 45 mins).

Comet ISON from Singapore skies

Comet ISON from Singapore pre-dawn skies

btw Comet ISON is touted to be a great comet and possibly comet of the century. Expected to brighten significantly in late November....whether it will dazzle or fizzle...it still remains to be seen. At the moment, the comet is still dim and there are currently no reports on visual sightings by local astronomers yet.

Thanks for viewing! :)
