If u need it, it's worth the $$$.

I bought it last time when I was using C700. Expensive, but no other choice as I needed ext flash. Sold it off when I sold my C700.

Search dpreview forums if u are the DIY type ... I think some fellas managed to figure out the connections and DIYed sth ...
