Any switch for focus lock for Canon 30D?

I know Nikon does have a switch to lock the focus. Wonder is there anything similar for Canon 30D?

I am not referring to locking the focus by squeezing the shuttle button half way to lock.

Not that I know of.

There is no dedicated focus lock switch, but there are at least two feasible workarounds. One is to move the focussing to the rear '*' button via custom function, so letting go of the '*' would effective 'focus lock'. The other is to use the left thumb (assuming right-hander) to gently shift the AF-MF switch to 'MF' on the lens after focusing.
