He can always try using those scratch removal creams for CDs. Or even use car polish creams. Just have to be careful not to let the cream get into the groove between the lcd screen and the camera body.My friend is complaining his new PNS camera LCD got scratches after he purchase the LCD protector film.

He is very excited about shooting that evening when he got the cam and I believe his BELT metal pieces scratch the screen when we are walking and he hang his cam to himself via lanyard. How come his LCD become so jialat?
Never take care?
I use CD scratch removal creams all the time on my CDs & DVDs. Before that, I have used those polymer-based car polish creams on my CDs and DVDs. Both will remove fine scratches and make the CDs/DVDs look brand new. I have never scratch my LCD screens though as I always protect them with screen protectors but as the LCD screens are made of plastic just like CDs, there's no reason why the creams don't work on them.Interesting idea... have you tried it personally before?
