HI all, just sharing some of my photos from my Alaskan trip back in June.

Denali National Park

Nice series! Thanks for sharing the views in alaska. The view you had at #1 must be quite amazing being there itself at that point of time. BTW how far were you away from the bear?

Thanks. Ok I have a confession. Although 99.99% of the bears in Alaska are free ranging and roam all over the place, this one was in an enclosure in some reserve and was like only 30m away. The enclosure's fencing has been blurred out of focus also.

So there you have it...this photo isn't as exciting as it's made out to be..

I loved the local beer!

When a bear came close we all hid in the RV and I sent the wife outside. The bear ran away.

A nice flower to convey thoughts of love and peace to detract from violently themed prior picture.

I think the bear was hiding behind this sign when people shot at it..hence the bullet riddled sign.

I mainly used a nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 with 2x tele convertor. I also brought with me a 17-24mm, a 50mm and a 60mm macro. All nikkor.
