about tripods...one size fit all ?

whichever place i buy the tripod...should be able to screw in into my oly c4000 right ??

Yes, the tripod screw is a standard size. If my memory serves me properly, it is a 1/4 inch screen with 20 threads/inch.

I think there are a few ClubSNAPers with experience with the Carrefour tripod, so they can probably advise you much better on that part of your query. Nonetheless, I think you can probably do a lot better for your first tripod... try dropping by CP and taking a look at the Slik models.
