5DMKII RAW files + Macbook Air + Photo Mechanic

Anyone uses the above mentioned setup?

Planning to get a very light notebook to do some work on the move; primarily browsing full 21.1mp RAW photos only, no editing, no photoshop, no RAW conversion.

Currently using Photo Mechanic on my Mac Pro and G5 which yield very good speed in browsing through my RAW files.. Wondering if Photo Mechanic is able to run fast on a Macbook Air too?

Personally i think it will be slow. Macbook air max ram is 2GB, to process 21MP files will be tedious.....

think better get the new macbook pro faster processor and better graphics card....

The new Macbook Pros with i5 and i7 cores are really powerful and priced really well, but what i want here is a laptop which is ultra portable. So i want to know if Macbook Air can do that one thing I want to do, which is view RAW files quickly using Photo Mechanic.. If so, I'll get it straightaway..
