450D, when will the release date be?

i dun see the purpose of shooting the summon ticket, may be the reviewer forgot to put coupon during his shoot and now he want to claim it back from company :bsmilie:

but then again, isn't that the reason some people buy cameras and lenses for?? To shoot newspaper and rulers.....

The selling price is abt the same at BIC Camera, Sukura, Yadobashi Camera and MAP Camera.

Body Only
Price = Yen 89800 (Est Sin $ 1166)
Cash payment shall have a 10% cash rebate.

Option Kit 1=
EF-S 18-55mm F3.5 – 5.6 IS kit lens
Price = Yen 99800 (Est Sin$ 1296)
Cash payment shall have a 10% cash rebate.

Option Kit 2=

As for the online purchase, they only delivery within Japan.
If you have friends staying in Japan, you can use their address to delivery to their place.
and after that sent by post to SG. but sent by post in Japan is not cheap.
But I think overall there is not much saving left. If found the camera is damaged that will make it worse.. need to sent back again and get a replacement. that's also cost addition $$$.

Anyway I found this website is also selling cheap.

Aiya, CP is usually like that... Don't bother.

I asked about the 450D at John 3:16 last week, they expect it to be on the shelves within the next couple of weeks. They also said that interest for the new model is quite high. The person I spoke to was a young guy who was running around the store helping out. Didn't get his name. But young guy usually will chup young guy.

yes i had the same treatment too, their sales sucks i will never step onto there to buy even if they are cheaper by 30% (btw they dont and most of the model i ask they say kit only nothing free...) The sales at harvey norman at funan is sooo much better.
