380 European football matches fixed by Singapore syndicate

Where to place bets now?

Why bet? Why not just watch and enjoy? It's precisely because if this "must bet" attitude that these syndicates thrive

Bcos if you have placed win on Manu till now. They have won 20, drawn or lost 5. Assuming placing $100 bets for each game. You would have won more than $100. Keeping the same money in the bank would have only given you 0.05% interests, ie $1.25.

Wilson Raj Perumal

Apparently there is a rivalry going on between them?

interesting. Now Singaporeans travelling singly to European countries will have their briefcase checked to see if it contains hundred thousands of Euros.

Due to international financial regulations, they should be doing that anyway. It's part of the anti-moneylaundering act.

From the horse's mouth if I hadn't known better...

Wilson Raj Perumal said:
... Wilson was speaking of the floodlight scam, we asked him to explain the procedure better: "I am surprised you are not aware of the floodlight incidents", he said, "You will need the assistance of the technician in the stadium plus some other techniques to ensure that the lights are not turned back on. More like a power failure".

Wilson also mentions that Dan Tan was responsible for the floodlights being switched off during a match between Fenerbache and Barcelona.

"Tan had placed bets on Fenerbache to win the match. But the score-line read 0-4 in favor of Barcelona during the half time. If the lights were to go off before the second half kick-off then the betting would be cancelled. Tan switched the lights off but the stadium officials used a generator to re-activate the floodlights and this match backfired"...
Could this mean somebody was also attempting to fix the Manchester United vs Fulham BPL match at Craven Cottage with the same scam just two weeks ago? What a coincidence that it happened just before half time too.

Might be..... EPL seldom have much floodlight issue..... and maybe the score was not what they were expecting, and they cannot control the result, so they try to shut the game????:think:

Business Insider (Singapore), Jailed Singaporean Gangsters Were Reportedly Trying To Rig World Cup Matches
By Bhavan Jaipragas (Agence France-Presse (AFP)) @ 2014-06-16 T 06:54 +8

If you can't participate in the World Cup, you try your next best option which is to rig the World Cup. :bsmilie:

Didn't know those 14 including Dan Tan Seet Eng are now held in detention without trial under the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act (CLTPA (Chapter 67)). Seems like they'll be in for an indefinite period of time.
