2010 formula 1 gulf air bahrain grand prix

to those who don't subscribe to Starhub sports channel (like me) and who don't want to pay $40 to enter Spore Pools @ Selegie to watch the race live (like me)... you can tune your telly to receive the Msian channel Ntv7.

this is what i've read in another forum...

Ntv7 was announced yesterday as the official host broadcaster of the Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix at the Sepang Circuit from April 2-4.

It will air seven races ‘live’ this year – the GPs in Australia, Malaysia, Brazil, China, Canada, Japan and South Korea.

Twelve other races – in Bahrain, Singapore, Spain, Monaco, Turkey, Europe, Britain, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Italy and Abu Dhabi – will be delayed telecasts.

Red Bull Racing is damn strong this year... I fear for the cars with the Silver Arrows... Mercedes FOREVER! After Button went to McLaren I stopped supporting them. Undeserving champion. Even Kobayashi drives better than him. LOL okay maybe just more gutsy. Kimi is technically brilliant but he annoys me with his mumbling and Ice-Cream attitude. Now its Mercedes GP. Anybody wants a size M Vodafone McLaren Mercedes shirt? :p

Don't discount Williams too. In testing they have been quick!

and so it all started... results from the first practice...

Yup.

Overall impressions, we still can't tell who has an advantage going into qualifying tomorrow. There will be lots of work for the teams tonight to make changes to the setup, especially how the car rides the bumps at the turn 6 & 7 complex. The cars were bottoming out so much that during one part of practice 1, they were showing repeatedly how different cars bottomed out, wood dust from the plank and sparks and all that.

Tyre degradation is also is very bad, especially with the rear tyres, but hopefully over the weekend, there will be more improvements as more rubber is laid on track.

Great live timing has failed on my iPhone and on the website.

Back on at 4.52pm Singapore time.

Alonso is fastest at the moment, 1:54.099. Hamilton has a technical problem and will not get to put in a qualifying sim run.

As an aside, are there any good places across the border that telecast the race LIVE ? I mean like a sports cafe or something ? I don't mind making the fortnightly drive there for some makan and race thrills. I still refuse to pay Starhub my hard earned money. :thumbsd:
