I just wonder why people worry when the world is going to end. Unless you are looking into solutions, why do you need to ends it before the 'end'?
Surely we have better things to do or contribute than to think how to end our own life. Even to let those around you be happier on their last few days if that is true.

As Dominick Cobb said in Inception "... an idea is like a virus, resilient, highly contagious. The smallest seed of an idea can grow. It can grow to define or destroy you..." and regrettably for this girl, she allowed herself to be overly obsessed with this concept of a forthcoming Armageddon unknowingly and alas, found her soul already plunged into an abyss of eternal darkness whereby there is not a glimmer of hope.
Choosing to take your own life then become relatively easier.
