Well, if you think about it, it's not just a few seconds, but also how many time you recompose.
Do you know how easy it is to remove the filter holder from the your lens compare to unscrewing a threaded filter for recomposition? You can't see anything through your lens. Ease of use is the key here.

And not to worry about spending money for another screw on filter just because you changed lens that has a different diameter. Square filters save more money

You can buy the largest filter size available (82mm?) and then use step up rings.
This would be no different from having an additional filter holder ring, actually; though of course, there might be vignetting - but it's definitely not as horrible as it seems.

Btw, for most situations where a 10-stop filter will be more applicable, i.e. daytime, the modern implementations of Live View will allow you to compose using LV. That's what I've been doing for the past few months actually.
Of course, if you want to do a 32 minute exposure or something to that tune, and get a whole load of grain even using ISO100, that's your prerogative. As a rule of thumb, anything beyond 4 minutes better have a damned good reason (which are few and far between), since the amount of noise introduced is horrendous due to the sensor heating up for such a long exposure.
Something else to highlight - if you use a UWA with APS-C DSLR, and stick to the P-series (I'm not aware if you can stack slot-in filters with a Z-sized system) for the sake of costs (to give you a sense of quantity, a Hi-tech GND filter for P series costs $38 alone, for Z series this will be $90 IIRC - sounds like a $52 difference, but if you have an extensive collection of filters - which you should have, this will multiply and multiply), then you would have to use a UWA filter holder - which can hold ONE single filter. Therefore, if you stack GND + ND, you don't really have much choice but to do a threaded + slot-in filter combination (with slight vignetting at the extreme corners which is extremely easy to correct - it goes when you adjust with lens correction profiles).

There a p holder for wide angle lens bt only 1 slot
Using it for my 11-16 tokina no problem.

So now is either, change whole system or get a nd110
I don't think so, now if I need more than 1 filter I got to hold them infornt, and got to make sure my fat hand can't be seen

Interesting.
I used the P holder for wide angle lens as well. Mounted it on my Toki 12-24 and got serious vignetting at 12-13mm...
Gave up.

Sorry ah, can I just confirm if you have or don't have the Cokin P holder?
Coz if you already have the holder and no problem, you wouldn't need to ask about the filter size...
Yap I using a cokin p holder (wide angle type) 1 slot only,
I asking the filter size is becos I think of looking for a 10stop filter
Can't remember the size of the filter, not sure is it 85x85 or 85x100
