i was a little hesitant about asking, but today i tried it out and... i want a 12-24/f4 do you want us to PM/email you with a show of interest? :)

I just hope the new D200, D90, or whatever has support for vertical grips, saw so many D70 users straining themselves in Raffles City the last few days.

a little OT, but if you check out NASA's photobook, "Orbit" you'll find they shot most of their pics from the Shuttle using Hassys, some other exotic cameras which I can't remember off hand and a lot of nice pics were shot with Nikon :)

I don't have a Zen Touch, but I do have a 15Gb Zen NX (my third Nomad) and I love it. The battery lasts ages, (I'd say more than 12 hours) audio quality is excellent on my sennheiser px200's. The interface, ie: the software and the positions of the control knobs and switches is a little strange...

argh, really? :bigeyes: someone explained DX and DC to me as the image circle, while being smaller, contained the same information as the image circle of a regular 35mm lens. oh well, that explains why a lot of people don't care much for DX lenses.

Have tried my 80-200/2.8 on my manfrotto (i think, it's not near me right now) monopod, it was pretty fun, but i was sitting down. A monopod should be ok, just remember you might need to turn off VR :)

that's 165.21.100.88 not 165.21.83.100... but do try to change it back as soon as possible, it's not polite using one ISP's dns when you're on someone else's network.

interesting, and scary, both servers are on the same subnet, that's generally regarded as very poor network design. not on MOL, i do get an answer, but this is what i get: (note, "status: REFUSED", could be they aren't allowing non-MOL customers to use their dns) but as you say, it's already...
