Based on John 316, it will be around 9xx, MS Color refuse to give the details on price as they didn't have the stock yet (2 weeks ago). I will guess it should be about the old price of GRD... hopefully bundle with all the accessories. :think: hmmm...

I have a Leica D-LUX3 and is looking forward to get a GR II. I love the 16:9 on leica, the image are sharp and saturated. But it's a bit hard to me (to use the joystick) to make adjustment, and i really hate the NR on the camera. On top of that, it's not really that "compact" if you intend to...

sound like the same experience i have before... exactly the same settings... i had already paid at the time when the shop changed his deal (since i rejected to get additional accessories) and gave me less stuffs that was in his original package... guess what, i called up the credit card company...

wahahahaaaa.... another tips off my head is to take some photo of her with your D200 and set the saturation to low....then get the D300, set the saturation to high and then take some photo of her again, show the photos to her, and she will forgive you. :-)

May be 8 is not a good number for Japanese :P (just like chinese don't like 4). :bsmilie:

Hope D200X didn't come so soon... :P My D200 is just one year old and i was busy with work for the whole year, not much chance to take many photos with it yet... -_-

I wish is FM3D compact type of DSLR, or perhaps a digital rangefinder from nikon. :D missing old days...

May be because it's heavy, i still prefer my prime lens. :( I only use it when go travel. 105 VR is a great lens, but i sold it due to the same reason, getting myself 1 60mm instead. Sometimes i miss it though (regret la), may be i will get another one next time. -_-

Sound like a great news! Hope they release some pro lens along with it as well (Prime!!!). (Plan to get lenses instead of camera since already satisfied with my D200, and D3 will be too expensive and heavy for me. :sweatsm: )

By the way, the things that i don't like about D-LUX3 /LX2 are: - No dial (it use joystick instead), means slower in making adjustment. - No option for external optical viewfinder. - No option for putting on filter. - NR is too aggresive resulting in lost of details. - Not so pocketable...
