To me, Canon S1 kind of old. Movie mode though great but takes up a lot of space. But image quality is average (see DCRP and dpreview), only 3.2MP and is 100+ grams heavier than FZ5. But the battery life is very good. I don't know why cnetasia.com put this camera above FZ20 in the best...

LifeWorld is correct. A comparison done says FZ5's battery life is the longest amongst FZx series, but still falls short of that of KMD Z5. By not much :D .

KMD Z5 is heavier too. But the video quality is 640x480 30fps, better than FZ5's 320x240 30fps.

I tried using my FZ5 to test, but it was damn slow. Supposedly DCRP says that FZ5 uses a speed slower than USB2.0, but faster than USB1.1.

Hey, I don't trust this test. The Kingmax SD Card performed amicably when using FZ5 burst mode. Too bad no .tiff format burst mode, would've been fun :) .

Haiz, the program goes into 'Not responding' mode whenever I do that. Not just my laptop but my desktop as well. :(

Think LZ2 should be the best. 6x zoom and 224g(w/batt). Though I've heard mixed reviews about it. Supposedly average picture quality, video quality is poor. Casio has less zoom (5x) and is heavier at 275g. Nikon 4MP has more zoom (8x) and is 295g. Olympus 4MP, has more zoom (10x) but is a...
