I won't take things at face value. AP after all had at least one long thread on what many consider unehtical selling methods. They rectify, when caught. But for those who don't realize it. Too bad for them.

Actually the FX-8 list price is also about $749. Except for Sony cameras, you should be able to at about $100 from the list price for a point & shoot. I bought a Casio once. It traumatized me so much, I can't bring myself to buy another Casio again.
