I just noticed my Digi Cab humidity is set to 30%, no matter which way i turn the dial i cant get to to increase to 50%. Does this sound like a fault to you? If i left is running at 30% is there a change my camera and other equipment might dry out and crack? thx

My Friend has a 450D and is heading to Kenya on a Safari for the first time. I was recommending him to get the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM But now im wondering if it will be too big and heavy to be practical? He will be with his wife and 2 kids...

And just to add, i need a clean simple uploading interface (preferably with batch uploading). I just tried Pbase which looked nice on the surface but you can only upload single pictures and prompts you for all sorts of info! Any pointers appreciated.

I have a Nikon D80 with an 18-200 VR lens. When i shoot in continuous mode i notice a slight lag i.e the continuous Frames are not smooth and some times jittery. If i turn off the VR function of and continuously shoot the lag disappears. Is this normal?

Depends on how close you need to be to your subject. If you are shooting fauna and still life then the 60mm will be fine.
