I had a 10-22 efs but after using it for a while, though the wide angle is fantactic but distortion it produce at widest end is also very bad. Especially so when the pictures include human, this 10-22 is a big no no to me. There are some who like the distortion it create but I will never use...

Lens of course. IMO. I still use a lot of my 28-70L and 70-200L which I bought many years ago with my very first DSLR, a canon D30, since then I had changed the bodies few times but these lens are still usable and the optics quality never changed.
