Hi all, This doesnt really qualify as sports, i think, because most of the shots were posed. feedback, though how to make the shots work better, will be much appreciated. Most shots were taken with no flash at shutter speeds about 1/800 thereabouts, and about f8 at ISO 200...

The photos look a bit flat to me... and a bit dead.. no offence.. but the subject doesnt jump out of the pic.. it's like the excitement of the event is lost. Having said that, it's quite good panning, imo... cheers

Hi everyone... Am thinking of getting a monopod. But for the life of me i have NO IDEA where to start. Any advice? I'm 1.8m tall, so 1.5m tall monopods are a bit too short.. Any idea of how much i should set aside? ( First and second hand) Thanks for reading and advising!
