The Altar and the Joss Sticks

A quick shot before the Merlion dutifully spits water. As I've mentioned, the Merlion wakes up earlier after the body check up it had last year. Finally, the Sunrise is early enough for me to get a shot before the reflection is disturbed by the water current due to the water thrown out of the Merlion.

Exploration of Tuas South. Found this empty patch which has a look of desolation and emptiness which bring out the concept I had in mind. I wanted to portray Tuas aside from the normal perception of factories after factories, which after a short drive about was my own perception of it as well. Finally found this spot and it lends itself well to an IR treatment than a coloured or normal B&W treatment.

Taken on Pentax K5+Sigma 10-20+Hoya R72 for 41 seconds.

A bit tricky to get the correct exposure for this bird, usually happen on white and yellow color birds.
Shot at -0.7ev, if shot at 0.00ev will be over-exposed. :sweat:

I've got to get one of those new Haida ND filters at the least. (on hindsight, should not have been stingy and should have got it before the trip... )
The tianya ND has that magenta/orange/green cast that still subtly present after correction.
