I think there is a link on Fujirumors that will bring you to the Japanese firmware download page. Official English site does not have the 1.01 firmware.
Guys, there is a FW update on Fujifilm global site for X-E1 to FW1.01.

There some minor changes from 1.00 to 1.01 eg. (copied and paste here from Fuji webby),
1.Adding the compatibility with "XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R".
*You will get the full performance with the new zoom lens "XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R".
2.The phenomena below will be fixed.
(1)The auto focus accuracy with XF60mm Lens could not be enough.
(2)When using the M- Mount Adapter, under exposure could occur.

I wonder what's the behavior of auto-iso with the zoom. Doesn't make sense if it continues to be 1/focal length since the zoom has O.I.S. Hope they implement an option to configure the minimum shutter speed.
Totally agree with you. I usually use aperture mode only. Using auto iso with 35mm (52mm equivalent), will always give a shuttle speed of around 1/52s. I do not have a steady hand and will prefer to have a minimum shuttle speed of at least 1/80 with a 35mm lens.
I supposed the warranty is International? Cos I can get the following in Australia at the prices below. All price converted to SGD
-$1227 for XE1 body only
-$1700 for XE1 kit with 18-55mm lens
-$808 for the 18mm f2 lens
-$808 for the 35mm f1.4 lens
-$860 for the 60mm f2.4 macro lens
I don't think there are additional freebies other than standard accessories. Just one thing to add, you will need a adapter for australia charger.

Fuji is international no matter where u buy.
Hi, they don't package price with 35mm. So you need to add both body and the lens price tgt.
I'm asking my cousin over at Gold Coast to buy back for me. The price is retail price in Australia or only certain shops that sell at these price? Something like street price here
