Use the strap with metal hooks from computer bag and buy a 1/4 inch body screw of the manfrotto rc2 plate to add to it.
- there you go a simple DIY

Manfrotto d ring may not hold the weight of the camera. I would suggest you like at the black rapid connector r2 or similar.

most of the shops in sg prob get their stock from dealextreme. if you dont mind the waiting time get it from there, if you need it quick then get it from the ready brick and mortar shops here

I highly doubt that stores get their stock from dealextreme... simply because it is cheaper to get it from the supplier in China...
