Fireworks @ MBS 21-July-2012

Hi Everyone,

Since national day is coming and there will be fireworks going on next sat, why not take the chance to get together and shoot the fireworks and we can always have some discussion about shooting it before it starts.

Meeting Venue: MBS station ( We shall walk about to find the best spot and get the best view on that day)
Time: 3pm (I organized one last year and ard 3pm, half the slot is alr 'chopped' by tripods)

Things to bring:
-Tripod
-Remote
-Camera
-Wide angle or fisheye lens
-Black card
-Most importantly must have a bottled of chilled beer incase your tired of shooting or cant be bothered to shoot or even just want to enjoy the moment. I think im bringing half a dozen.

There are no limit to number of pax but no one is going to book any slot for you if your late, Last year I chopped half the area ard custom house seats for 4 hours becos they are late, not happening this year.

really? i am actually wanted to join in unless verified...

there's NE shows for the next few weekends until 4 Aug. There's nothing that say that there will be no fireworks. In fact, for the past few rehearsals, there have been fireworks, so I dont see why they will omit them for the students.

This weekend will be the first NE session and very likely to have fireworks as above stated.

Since you are over at MBS side, you wil get quite a view of the aerial demonstration so bring telephoto lens.

Last week when there. Fireworks started at 8pm.only a few shots and ended around 10minutes .

Yea there will be NE shows. Just that having fireworks or not is another question. Nevertheless, i will still head down with the cam, bring a field chair and enjoy the scenery!

there's short fireworks from the previous rehearsals, evidenced by the posts by other members

cos the primary sch kids going this saturday i think. my cusin in primary.

Hi everyone, I have search the web but there are no indication of no fireworks so let just assumed there are. If there are none then let just enjoy the laser show with our bottles of beer (PS: BRING YOUR OWN BEER unless u wanna buy from me which IM selling for 15 bucks each .. YES im chopping you)

If we cant have the fireworks, why not enjoy the moment with a beer!

Black card is used when u want to have mutiple fireworks in one photo, we can discuss that when you come for this outing.
