This price is the same as when I bought it when first came out.. What is the difference?? Haha.. Hopefully those who waited so lo g is wOrth the wait, I wun wait just because of a hundred of 2 for such a wonderful monster like this d800. Unless it is more than $500 than maybe it's worth waiting.. Good luck to all still waiting.. Hell yeah to Nikon d800 users

Haha, quite a contradicting cost but it's rather common.. Most smaller camera store that has installment plan do charge an extra 2 to 4 percent admin fee as part their cost to pay credit card company for such installment. Bigger store like Cathay or megastores like courts absorbs these cost.

I was in KL mid valley this week. One store quoted cash MYR 9900 but available next week. Others 2 stores has immediate stock asking MYR 10,899.

Just got my D800 and 50 f1.8G for $4387 , can pay installment 1 or 2 years and have free screen protector and 8gb sd card , cos they can't give CF card and any more then 8gb , bought from challenger

$4048 for the D800 and $339 for the lens , lens abit ex but better then paying more for the D800 , their battery grip cannot give much discount so never buy from them at $550

Hougang mall Challenger , I just buy like an hour plus ago , call them and nego the price on phone , before I even cfm with them and the stock arrive in less then a week , did not even pay up front for pre order cos through phone only and decide to pay by installment , I order everything like spare batt and grip and lens and body but grip too ex so drop it off but person still give me the price agreed on for other things I buy
